New Google Algorithm Update Against the Farmer

Last week, Google announced that the new algorithm change of the Google search engine has been rolled out to the US searches. According to Google, the effect is not that large but 12 percent of the searches will be affected.

There was a report made by a traffic tracker of the websites that revealed that many huge websites like ezinearticles.com lost 70 to 95 percent of the traffic due to the said change of algorithm.

What does it mean?

The message is clear. Many big guys are affected. But if they are affected, I am sure, small guys are affected too.

But why are they affected?

Google in one of the blogposts posted on their blog, they said that those affected mostly are content farms. Saying content farms, it means websites that contain low quality content.

In other words, if you want to avoid the negative effect of the change in algo of Google, then you should provide quality content for the readers. This is the only remedy.

But of course, you need to continue the link building campaign. Remember the links back to your website is still considered by Google in ranking your website in the SERP. But just like what I already said on my previous blogposts, just make sure that the backlinks are with high quality.

Saying High Quality backlinks, it means that the link is coming from high PR websites. This is one of the important ingredients you need to have for your website.

So much for the day, thank you for reading this blogpost.
